Frequently Asked Questions

Where do orders ship from?

No matter if you’re living in the US or you’re an EU customer, your order always ships from the nearest fulfilment location. Most products have fulfilment locations both in the US and in Europe.

However, there are some products that only ship from the US, for example our Eco Tote Bags. This simply means that if you’re an EU customer ordering this item, you most likely will be charged duties when your package arrives. This has nothing to do with metaprintables.com and you’re responsible for paying any fees, that you may be charged, yourself.

Our Reusable Face Masks on the other hand, is an example of an item that only has a fulfilment location in Europe. This has no impact on your order though, as no duties will be added for neither US customers nor EU customers ordering this item.

Why does my order ship in more parcels?

If you ordered more than one type of product, these products may have different fulfilment locations. That’s why your order may be shipped in more than one parcel.
But don’t worry – when we send you an email notification we always make it easy for you by letting you know exactly which products have been shipped as well as letting you know when your order is complete.

Not all my items show in the shipping info email. Where are the other items I ordered?

Not all products have the same fulfilment locations. Due to this, your order may be shipped in more than one parcel.
But worry not! When we send out email notifications we always let you know exactly which products have been shipped as well as letting you know when your order is complete.

What is POD?

POD is short for “print on demand”. POD works this way: As soon as you order an item, the item is put into production. Quite simple, right?

Did you know that this is actually a sustainable way of consuming? It is so because no products are going to waste. Just think of the traditional way of producing goods in large amounts – many products end up not getting to the end-user because no one wants, say, that specific colour or that specific size. POD solves this issue.

I changed my mind after receiving my items. Can I return them?

Yes. Please see the returns section on our Terms & Conditions page. It will guide you on what to do next. Please note that some items are not eligible for returns such as face masks (full list on the Terms & Conditions page).

I received the wrong or damaged items. Can I get a refund?

Yes. Please see the returns section on our Terms & Conditions page. It will guide you on what to do next.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer Free Standard shipping to the US when you reach a total order value of $65 or more.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes!

I just ordered something. When can I expect my order to arrive?

The below estimated shipping times begin when your order has been fulfilled, i.e. printed, made and gone through a final quality check performed by a real human. The fulfillment process typically takes 2-7 business days.

  • US: 3-5 days for USPS First Class Mail and 2-3 days for USPS Priority Mail
  • International shipping: 6-10 days for USPS Priority (pending customs). First Class Mail shipping times can be up to 3 weeks.

Please keep in mind that orders can take up to 3 weeks to arrive and that the above shipping times may vary and are meant as guidelines.

It's been a while since I placed my order. I think my order is missing?

In case you haven’t done so yet, please take a closer look at the FAQ answer right above this one.
If you calculate that your order has been on its way for more than 3 weeks by now we kindly refer you to the Terms & Conditions page (see section 5. Missing orders). Thank you.

What does it mean that your iPhone cases are "biodegradable"?

Our iPhone cases are made of 100% biodegradable material and therefore decompose easily. We’re not suggesting you do this, but if you left one of our iPhone cases outside in nature, it would actually decompose in less than a year(!).

To be exact, our 100% biodegradable iPhone cases are made from:

  • 30% soil
  • 18% rice
  • 18% soybeans
  • 10% wheat
  • 7.5% onions
  • 7.5% carrots
  • 7.5% pepper
  • 1.5% sawdust
